Who would like a PR 101 podcast?
One of the favorite things I’ve done in the last 10 years was my column for CBC Radio’s lamented (at least by me!) show “The Business Network.” I started my career in radio, and love the process. So to get to do a 2:15 commentary for the Biznet every two weeks was a joy. And it made me think about PR in a more abstract way than I sometimes found myself thinking. It forced me to step back from the day-to-day and do analysis – a welcome break.
And it was always a kick when people would e-mail me saying something like … “My clock radio went off this morning, and I thought I was dreaming you were talking to me… and then you were on the radio.” (the show aired about 5:45 am)
So with the conspiratorial inspiration of Mark Blevis to blame, we’re gonna put together a podcast series on the basics of PR. Sunday night, we’ll get together and either brainstorm or record (we’ll see), and soon, I’ll let you know when the first episodes will be posted for download and where.
In the meantime, are there topics you’d like to see covered? Tell me! Otherwise you’ll be stuck with what I think is important.

I’d love to hear a PR 101 podcast from y’all! I think there should be a high level of snark in the podcast too, because you can never have too much snark.
What about the lost art of opposing the legal department’s advice as a topic?
