My TEDx Ottawa presentation: “sing your song”
One of my highlights for 2009 was ending up as a presenter for Ottawa’s first TEDx event. It was an immensely rewarding experience. And now if you weren’t there on Decmber 6 or couldn’t get the stream to work, you can actually hear what I had to say.
This was a bit of a stretch for me in terms of presenting and talking about myself, rather than talking about technology, or PR, or whatever. But people seemed to have like it, which was pretty gratifying.
There are also videos up of Tracey Vibert, Mark Blevis, Danny Brown, Melissa Love and Elise Jackson, Nick Desbarats, and Najeeb Mirza.
A note of thanks to the whole tech team who have been working on the videos to get them up on YouTube since the event. It was a great day.
And even if you don’t want to listen to me, zoom to the 15-minute mark and check out the lovely Andrea Simms-Karp singing “Running Shoes” and playing the Six String Nation guitar. Wow.

Might be the talk I needed to hear today. Thanks.
