The Bookshelf
I am, to use Richard Lederer’s term, a verbivore. Since I was a kid being scolded by my parents for reading at the table, I have loved books and reading. And since becoming involved in the public relations and social media game, I’ve been an enthusiastic reader of books that relate to what I do and what I think about. Hope you enjoy my capsule reviews. These reviews will be of books I own already, that I borrow from the library or from friends, or from books that people send to me (hint hint). I’d be happy to consider reviewing your book, but no guarantees, OK?
The following reviews are a mix of text reviews and audio reviews that have been originally published on the podcast For Immediate Release with Shel Holtz and Neville Hobson.
PUBLISHERS / AUTHORS: I would love to receive review copies of books you think relate to social media, public relations, business, communications, or the music industry – the main topics I think and write about. Please e-mail me to ask if I’m interested first, though. If you send me two copies, I’ll give one away on the blog via a contest.
Also, you may want to check out my Pinterest board for my reviews.
I’m also going to try being an affiliate of Amazon, so please feel free to buy through me. Who says you can’t monetize the Web?!
